  • If you want to avoid doing this every time you need to launch it, just simply right-click and go to ‘properties’. Thereafter, visit the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box connected with ‘Run this program as an administrator.’ Once you’ll hit ‘apply’, your computer will be configured to launch Hamachi with administrative privileges.

  • Locate the ‘WMI’ service inside the ‘services’ screen, which you’ll most probably find from the right-hand pane. Once you locate the WMI service, open the ‘properties’ screen by double-clicking on it. 


  • Now, inside the ‘properties’ screen of your WMI service, simply go to the general tab and make sure that your ‘startup type’ is set to ‘automatic’.   • First of all, press ‘Windows key + R’ on your keypad to run a dialogue box. Thereafter, type ‘cmd’ and simply press ‘CTRL + Shift + Enter’ to open an ‘elevated command prompt’ window. When it is prompted by the UAC, then quickly choose ‘yes’. 

  • In the elevated command prompt type the following command and press ‘enter’:


sc config Hamachi2Svc depend= Winmgmt/LanmanWorkstation


Note: There’s a space after ‘=’ but no space before it.
