1) Search cmd in the search bar.
2) Right-click Command prompt in the search results and select Run as administrator.
3) Now, type msdt.exe/id devicediagnostic and press the Enter key.
4) Now, click the Next button in the pop-up that opens up.
5) Troubleshooting will start once you click the Next button. After it gets completed, check if the issue got fixed or not.
Fix 2: Reinstall all your USB controller drivers
It might be possible that wrong drivers are installed on your system and that’s why error gets popped out. Getting all the right USB controller drivers on your system will fix the issue for sure.

Have a look at the steps and follow them.
1) First of all, remove the USB device from Windows 10.
2) Now, open the quick-access menu (Windows logo key + X) and then click Device Manager.
3) Now, double-click Universal Serial Bus controllers.
4) Now, right-click on your USB controllers one by one and choose the Uninstall device for uninstalling them.
5) Restart your system and install all the drivers again from the Microsoft website or let Windows do it automatically for you.
Connect the device again and see if it works.
